WINGX Reports Super Bowl Business Jet Arrivals Down 19% YOY
882 business jet arrivals into the Las Vegas area were recorded this weekend.
(Las Vegas, Nevada) Aviation data intelligence company WINGX recorded 882 business jet arrivals into Las Vegas airports this past Super Bowl LVIII weekend (Friday, Feb. 9 – Sunday, Feb. 11), down 19% from 2023’s 1,085 business jet arrivals for Super Bowl LVII weekend in Glendale, Arizona.

The greatest number of arrivals this past weekend originated from Van Nuys Airport (IATA: VNY, ICAO: KVNY, FAA LID: VNY) with 100 arrivals, followed by Scottsdale Airport (KSDL) with 41 arrivals, Los Angeles International (KLAX) with 34 arrivals, Hollywood Burbank Airport (Bob Hope) (KBUR) with 32 arrivals and John Wayne-Orange County Airport (KSNA) with 29 arrivals.
2024’s top operators included (1) NetJets, with 214 arrivals, (2) Flexjet, with 46 arrivals, (3) JetSuiteX, with 27 arrivals, (4) Cirrus Aviation, with 25 arrivals and (5) Thrive Aviation with 20 arrivals.

The news comes on the same day as CNN reported that Super Bowl LVIII garnered television’s largest audience – averaging 123.4 million viewers, per CBS – since the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969, when an estimated 125 – 150 million viewers tuned in.
