Reuter’s sources said that SpaceX – which plans to go public on the NASDAQ under ticker symbol SPCX on June 12 – intends to share 555.6 million shares at a valuation of $1.75 trillion.
A fixed price ahead of presentations to investors and bookbuilding is highly unusual, per Reuters – companies planning to go public typically set a price range to frame valuation expectations and allow pricing to be adjusted based on investor demand.
SpaceX’s roadshow begins tomorrow, Jun. 4.
