SpaceX Launched 24 Starlink Satellites to LEO from Cape Canaveral This Morning
The launch marked the SpaceX’s seventh in the past week.
(Cape Canaveral, Florida) Today (Nov. 21) at 11.07 am ET (1605 GMT), SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launched 24 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit (LEO) from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The flight was the 20th for the first stage booster supporting the Starlink mission, which previously launched OneWeb 1, SES 18+19, Eutelsat HOTBIRD-F1, CRS-24, and now 16 Starlink missions, according to a post on SpaceX’s website](https://www.spacex.com/launches/mission/?missionId=sl-6-66).
A little more than eight minutes after liftoff, the first stage booster landed on the SpaceX droneship, ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas,’ marking the 86th booster landing on ASOG and SpaceX’s 372nd booster landing to date, per SpaceFlight Now.
On Monday, Kiko Dontchev, SpaceX’s vice president of launch, noted that there were 21 more launches on the company’s launch manifest that it wanted to complete before the end of the year, according to SpaceFlight Now; if SpaceX is able to complete all of them before the end of the year, it will close out 2024 with 136 orbital launches.
