(Ontario, Canada) Former JetLinx Chief Commercial Officer Ron Silverman stepped into his new role as President of Business Aviation at Canadian jet charter company; maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) provider and fixed-base operator (FBO) Skyservice today.
Ron Silverman stepped into his new role as President of Business Aviation at Ontario, Canada-based Skyservice today.
Skyservice was Canada’s fourth-largest private jet operator as of 2022, according to ARGUS Traqpak data provided by Private Jet Card Comparisons. The company maintains 13 FBO and maintenance facilities across North America, and recently acquired Fontainebleau Aviation at Miami’s Opa-Locka Executive Airport (IATA: OPF, ICAO: KOPF, FAA LID: OPF).
Silverman heads to Skyservice from his previous role as Chief Commercial Officer at Jet Linx. Since beginning his career in aviation with a regional airline at Republic Airport (IATA: FRG, ICAO: KFRG, FAA LID: FRG) in Farmingdale, New York in 1986, he has also held leadership roles at XO Jet, Vista Global, VistaJet US, Wheels Up, Executive Jet Management, TAG Aviation and International Aircraft Management.
