Just Eat Takeaway Launches Drone Delivery with Manna Aero
Ireland-based, electric drone delivery company Manna Aero is collaborating with takeaway giant Just Eat to ‘revolutionize the way people can receive their future food orders,' per eVTOL Insights.
(Dublin, Ireland) Just Eat Takeaway (JET) officially launched its drone delivery service in partnership with Manna Aero on March 6th starting in Dublin, Ireland, according to eVTOL Insights.

Per eVTOL Insights, customers ordering from participating restaurants on Just Eat Takeway can now opt for drone delivery, receiving their meals in as little as three minutes. The initiative aims to make deliveries faster and more flexible, particularly during peak times and in remote areas. Expansion across Europe is already in the works.
“This is a pivotal milestone for drone delivery in Europe,” said Bobby Healy, Founder and CEO of Manna. “By combining our expertise in scalable drone operations with Just Eat’s vast customer base and logistics network, we’re setting the standard for sustainable, convenient, and safe food delivery.”
Per eVTOL Insights, Manna’s drone network operates under European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations, and maintains ongoing collaborations with local authorities to bring the service to more countries. Manna’s zero-emission drones are fully electric.
Manna Aero has already carried out over 165,000 successful deliveries in Ireland, and is one of the largest drone delivery operators in Europe, transporting everything from medicine, healthcare products and food to books, according o eVTOL Insights.
Just Eat Takeaway connects consumers with 356,000 partners in 17 countries, according to the company’s website.
According to sUAS News JET is also advancing its AI Assistant chatbot, which helps customers search, order via text, and receive personalized recommendations. After a successful UK rollout, the chatbot has now expanded to Ireland and the Netherlands, with more markets to follow.
