Joby & Lyft Veteran George Kivork Joins Archer as Los Angeles General Manager
Kivork will focus on ramping Archer’s Los Angeles-area operations ahead of the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games and beyond.
(Los Angeles, California) Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) announced today (Aug. 26) that Joby and Lyft veteran George Kivork has been appointed as the company’s Los Angeles General Manager.

Kivork, who began his role earlier this month, will lead Archer’s go-to-market strategy in Los Angeles, building relationships with local government and regulatory bodies while working with the community, in addition to overseeing infrastructure development to enable the safe integration of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) operations, per Archer.
Ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 (LA28) Olympic and Paralympic Games – of which Archer has been appointed Official Air Taxi Provider – Kivork will work across policy, infrastructure, community and commercialization to prepare for Archer’s planned air taxi services.

Kivork previously served as Joby’s Head of U.S. State & Local Policy, Lyft’s Senior Public Policy Manager and in various roles within the Los Angeles’ Mayor’s Office.
