Japan’s AirX Signs Firm Order Agreement for Two eVTOLs from Eve Air Mobility (EVEX)
The order agreement, announced at the Singapore Air Show) includes options for 48 additional eVTOLs as Japan-based AirX scales its urban air mobility (UAM) services.
(Singapore) Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX, EVEXW; B3: EVEB31) announced this evening (Feb. 4 in the morning in Singapore Time (SGT)) while attending the Singapore Air Show that it has signed its second binding order with Tokyo-based AirX, a leading Japanese provider of air mobility services; the binding order includes a firm order for two eVTOL aircraft and options for 48 more.

The initial two aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2029. AirX plans to integrate Eve’s eVTOL aircraft into its operations, supporting the company’s vision to offer efficient, zero-emission transportation alternatives for urban and regional travel, according to this evening’s press release from Eve Air Mobility.

Eve’s eVTOLs will be used to serve sightseeing routes and last mile missions in cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, according to today’s press release.
Eve Air Mobility will host a press conference at 1:00 p.m. SGT (12.00am EST) in Function Room 4 at the Singapore Airshow.
