Gulfstream Introduces its All-New G300 Super-Midsize Aircraft
The G300 super-midsize aircraft will replace Gulfstream's G280 model.
(Savannah, Georgia) General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary Gulfstream Aerospace announced today the official introduction of its all-new, super-midsize Gulfstream G300 as the latest aircraft to join next-generation fleet.

Per today’s press release from Gulfstream, the aircraft will replace the manufacturer’s Gulfstream G280 super-midsize aircraft.
The G300 will feature signature Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows as well as an all-new Harmony Flight Deck, which includes next-generation avionics to enhance safety and operational efficiency, per Gulfstream.
The G300 announcement was made at Gulfstream’s Discover the Difference customer event in Savannah; during the event, Gulfstream President Mark Burns revealed a full-scale mock-up of the G300 and showed photos of the first aircraft in production.
“Fueled by a decade of investment and our future-forward approach, the Gulfstream next-generation fleet offers our customers the most innovative family of aircraft,” Burns said. “We know how important the super-midsize cabin segment is to our customers, so building on the highly successful G280 program, the G300 will reenergize the category with its heightened technology and safety enhancements, alongside the legendary comfort and styling of a Gulfstream.”
Gulfstream G300 Specs, per Gulfstream:
- Range: 3,600 nautical miles (6,667 km) at Mach 0.80, or 3,000 nautical miles (5,556 km) at Mach 0.84.
- Max cruise altitude: 45,000 feet / 13,716 meters
- Cabin altitude (billed by Gulfstream as the lowest cabin altitude in class): 4,8000 feet (1,463 m) when flying at 41,000 feet (12,497 m)
- Interior: 100% fresh air, plasma ionization air purification system and 10 Gulfstream Panoramic windows
- Max pax: 10
- Max living areas: 2 (billed as the longest cabin in its class)
- G300 Harmony Flight Deck includes six touch screens, Phase-of-Flight intelligence, a Synthetic Vision-Primary Flight Display that depicts runways and terrain in 3D imagery & Gulfstream’s Predictive Landing Performance System (which dynamically displays the runway stopping point in real time)
