Gulfstream Completes First G800 Delivery
The first G800 customer’s aircraft was outfitted at Gulfstream’s facility in Appleton, Wisconsin.
(Savannah, Georgia) Gulfstream Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), announced today the completion of its first customer delivery of the new Gulfstream G800, billed as the world’s longest range business aircraft.

Per today’s press release from Gulfsream, the G800’s entry into service followed its Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certifications on April 16.
The delivered G800 was outfitted at Gulfstream’s Appleton, Wisconsin completions factory.

Gulfstream G800 Key Specs:
- Range: 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 km) at long-range cruise speed
- Max. Operating Speed: Mach 0.935
- Long-range Cruise Speed: Mach 0.85
- Cabin altitude: 2,840 feet (866 meters) when flying at 41,000 feet (12,497 meters) – billed by Gulfstream’s as the industry’s lowest
- Plasma ionization air purification system
- 16 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows
- Interior: can be figured with as many as four living areas or three living areas and a dedicated crew compartment.
Per Gulfstream, its Appleton completions site includes Gulfstream’s Appleton site includes large-cabin completions operations, a custom-designed paint hangar – which opened in 2023 and can accommodate up to 48 aircraft a year – and a Gulfstream Customer Support maintenance, repair and overhaul facility.
