Firefly’s IPO was 25x oversubscribed, and marks the largest Space industry IPO in U.S. history, CNBC’s Morgan Brennan pointed out in a live segment with Firefly Chief Executive Officer Jason Kim on Squawk Box this morning.

“We’ve really set up ourselves for going public since our inception,” Kim told Squawk Box. “We’ve got four revenue generating products that are all mature, and we’ve got flight heritage on our Alpha rocket just on our second launch. We’re the first company to commercially land on the moon successfully…and all 10 NASA experiments had their mission objectives completed [on the Blue Ghost mission].”

Firefly Aerospace, which was established in 2017, enables government and commercial customers to launch, land and operate in space, and is the only commercial company to launch a satellite to orbit with approximately 24-hour notice to date, according to the company.

Per Firefly, the company is the only commercial company to achieve a fully successful landing on the Moon (via its Blue Ghost Lander in March of this year) to date.
