El Al Will Begin Recovery Flights from Key European Cities Tomorrow (Jun. 18)
El Al's first flights to depart from Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Milan, and Paris under government-approved plan.
(Israel) El Al Israel Airlines (TASE: ELAL) announced that it will begin recovery flights tomorrow (June 18), following approval from the Israeli government; the first flights will depart from Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Milan, and Paris.

All flights will operate under the Israeli Ministry of Transportation’s guidelines.
All first flights departing from Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Milan, and Paris are already full, and all passengers have been notified of details.
El Al shared that flight assignments are based on when the original flight was canceled and on urgent medical or humanitarian needs. Crews and airplanes are awaiting further instructions to continue recovery efforts.
Since yesterday, customers have been registering through a special link on El Al’s website; this data is helping the airline plan future flights.
All recovery flights will roll out gradually, as the government approves them, per El Al.
Only customers with canceled flights and valid El Al or Sundor tickets to Israel are eligible for recovery flights, and there is no extra cost to board.
At this time, no outbound flights are allowed from Israel to other countries. El Al has asked customers to remain patient and recommends arranging lodging if needed.
Customers were encouraged to keep receipts for possible reimbursement.
