EHang Partner GoHobby Presents the First EH216-S eVTOL in Brazil, Initiates Pre-Sales

(São Paulo, Brazil) Brazilian drone distributor and EHang (NASDAQ: EH) partner Gohobby Future Technology presented the first EHang EH216-S eVTOL unit to arrive in Brazil yesterday, December 13th, at a presentation in São Paulo’s Arena XP.

The event marked Gohobby’s initiation of presales of the EHang eVTOLs. The first flying (operational) vehicle is expected to begin operating in 2024, according to Guarulhosweb.
The presentation featured São Paulo State Senator Marcos Pontes, Brazil’s first astronaut.
“To solve challenges, we need technology and knowledge, as well as a cultural transformation to embrace disruptive technology like the EH216 eVTOL aircraft,” Pontes said, according to eHang’s Instagram account @ehang_official. “We hope to see it flying in the skies of São Paulo and other cities in the country soon, enhancing the quality of life for people and contributing to the success and prosperity of our nation."
