EHang Introduces its VT35 Long-Range eVTOL Aircraft
The VT35's Global Debut took place today, on Oct. 13, at Luogang Park in Hefei, Anhui Province.
(Hefei, China) Urban air mobility technology company and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) developer EHang (NASDAQ: EH) announced today the launch of its new-generation, pilotless eVTOL aircraft, the ‘VT35,’ which the company describes as an upgraded lift-and-cruise eVTOL model designed for medium- to long-range applications – including intercity, cross-sea and cross-mountain transportation.

“With its autonomous flight capability, point-to-point efficiency, and eco-friendly electric propulsion, VT35 is set to play a pivotal role in advancing the low-altitude aerial mobility ecosystem from urban to intercity corridors,” reads today’s press release from EHang. “This launch not only marks a significant expansion of EHang’s product portfolio, but also represents a new milestone for China’s intelligent manufacturing on the global eVTOL stage.”

The "VT35 Global Debut" launch event took place on October 13, 2025, at Luogang Park in Hefei, Anhui Province; a video of the VT35s successful transition flight test was unveiled at the launch event, per EHang.
At the event, EHang announced the standard price of the VT35 in China’s domestic market, set at RMB6.5 million (~ $913,595 USD).

Earlier this year, in March of 2025, The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) accepted EHang’s type certificate (TC) application for the VT35 eVTOL aircraft; the model is currently undergoing airworthiness certification, with internal testing and experimental flights progressing steadily.
“Drawing on the successful certification experience of the EH216-S, EHang is applying its proven technical and regulatory insights to streamline VT35’s review and approval process,” reads today’s press release from EHang.

At today’s event, EHang also signed cooperation agreements with Zhejiang Zhiyi UAV Technology Co., Ltd. of Wencheng County, and Hainan Fuma General Aviation Industry Development Co., Ltd,; the parties will collaborate closely on VT35’s procurement, promotion, and operations to jointly advance the development of the low-altitude economy. Additionally, a platform company of the Hefei Municipal Government has already placed procurement orders for the VT35 long-range pilotless eVTOL aircraft.
