BETA to Supply Electric Pusher Motors to Eve Air Mobility
The agreement represents a potential 10-year opportunity for Beta of up to $1 billion, according to today’s press release from Eve.
(Melbourne, Florida & Burlington, Vermont) Eve Holdings (NYSE: EVEX) – also known as Eve Air Mobility – announced today (Dec. 2) that it selected Beta Technologies (NYSE: BETA) to supply electric pusher motors for its conforming prototypes and production aircraft; the agreement represents a potential 10-year opportunity for Beta of up to $1 billion, according to today’s press release from Eve.

Eve currently maintains a backlog of 2,800 eVTOLs, and is seeking to strengthen its supply chain through the collaboration, according to the company.

The agreement follows an initial evaluation period in which Eve purchased, tested, and validated the performance of BETA motors in its Engineering Prototype in anticipation of its first flight, which is expected to take place late this year/early 2026, according to the company.
